Joseph W. Gough
President / Founder
After a stellar career as a Hall of Fame student-athlete and honors graduate, Joe Gough began his professional career in education and coaching. With success in the form of championships and promotions, Joe left his position as Dean at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s to enter the newly forming world of creative consulting and multimedia production in 2001.
The application of “Conceptual Engineering” to corporate, political, and social problem solving has been Gough’s passion ever since. It is also the founding principal of Brainstorm Creative Consulting, LLC. BCC spun off of Indian Trail Productions several years ago. The firm’s scope has grown into broadcasting, web interactive, digital strategies, and political consulting. Indian Trail Productions began by doing award-winning production work with artists like Kid Rock, Eminem, and Sheryl Crow. The new firm has matured to the point where they are developing their own patented systems and technologies.
From 2004 to 2008, Gough enjoyed a long term engagement consulting for Lexis Nexis & Lawyers.com. He was one of the most decorated executives in the country during his tenure, excelling in web-based software applications and internet marketing programs. Working with intellectual property tools and online databases, infected Gough with the entrepreneurial bug. He ended his contract in early 2008 and immediately launched into a new endeavor.
Gough was recently named “Best Start-Up Entrepreneur- 2008”, by Automation Alley’s X-ology Magazine for his “Millionaire Greetings” business method. This patent-pending system integrates lottery games into greeting cards at the point of purchase. This is the first of several products in his growing gaming portfolio (www.millionairegreetings.com).
Along with the professional accomplishments, Gough started a non-profit organization and radio show Inspire Michiganä in 2007 on WDTK AM-1400. This philanthropic outlet has allowed him to blend the creative world of new media technology with his deep desire to give something back to Michigan. The 501(c)3 non-profit is dedicated to economic development by supporting innovators and entrepreneurs in Michigan.
